 Water Wonders, David Wenborn (pastel)

Originally from London, David Wenborn spent much of his childhood living on the Natal coast of South Africa.  Those early carefree days from the seventies (before TV was available there) were certainly very influential to any young artist fortunate enough to live on such a colourful and pristine coastline.

Art has always been central to his life and, although happy to explore a wide range of media and techniques, pastel painting remains one of his favourites. Scenes of an aquatic nature are common to many of David’s works especially where light, colour and reflection can be executed to great effect with pastels.

David currently lives with his family in Melton Mowbray where he has been based for the past 20 years.
