Chris Goodson

Chris Goodson 2

Chris has been painting in watercolour for several years, occasionally making a change by using oils or pastels. She enjoys painting landscapes, old barns and boats, and latterly, still-life. She is a member of several Art Societies and is currently Treasurer of KBGA.

"Painting in watercolour is still an interesting and mostly satisfying challenge; portraying the physical aspect of a scene can be fairly easy, but  capturing that elusive 'something' that really embodies the spirit of the picture is not so easy to attain.  I am happy to keep trying and 'happy accidents' occur sometimes! I love to paint countryside and coastal scenes, and am also experimenting with oils and pastels."
